REQUEST FROM GERMAN ENCYCLOPEDIA

I was recently asked to participate in the production of FRÜHE NEUZEIT IN DEUTSCHLAND 1620 – 1720  VL17, a new reference book on the history of German literature of the Baroque. I will write the article on Carl Gustav Heraeus (1671-1725), the Swedish/German courtier and concettista, whose life and work I explored in my book Ett äventyr i Staten (2003). Quite interesting to look back at this research after fifteen years. I even see new aspects and combinations popping up...
